Description

A cozy, naturally sweetened latte made with espresso, real maple syrup, cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla – simple, warm, and comforting.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Double shot of espresso
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Splash of vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Brew a double shot of espresso and pour it into your mug.
  2. In a small saucepan, gently warm the milk with maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla over medium-low heat. Whisk or froth lightly as it warms. If you’re using an espresso machine with a frother, froth milk, then add maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla, and stir to combine.
  3. Once the milk is hot (not boiling), pour it over the espresso.
  4. Finish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • For extra foam, use a handheld frother.
