Description

A thick, spoonable protein oatmeal made with rolled oats, protein powder, and pure maple syrup. Designed to stay creamy – not watery – this is an easy, nourishing breakfast you’ll come back to again and again.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 scoop protein powder of choice (my recommendation : Equip Foods Prime Protein)
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • optional : 1 teaspoon butter or nut butter

Instructions

  1. Bring milk and salt to a gentle simmer over low heat.
  2. Stir in oats and cook 5 – 7 minutes until thick, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and rest 30 – 45 seconds.
  4. Stir in protein powder slowly until smooth.
  5. Finish with maple syrup and optional butter / nut butter.

Notes

  • Add protein off heat for best texture
  • Adjust thickness with warm milk, not water
