Description

A sweet, tangy, and bold BBQ sauce made with tomato sauce, honey or maple syrup, and blueberry balsamic. Perfect for grilled chicken, pork, or roasted veggies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup all natural honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons blueberry balsamic
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons sea salt


Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients : Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Bring to a Light Boil : Whisk until smooth and let the mixture come to a light boil.
  3. Cook Low and Slow : Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Cool & Store : Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before storing or serving.

Notes

  • Use honey for a sweeter finish or maple syrup for a deeper flavor.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze up to 3 months.
  • Add chili flakes or hot sauce if you prefer heat.
